How to give Prevacid

There are many ways to give Prevacid

As a parent, you want a medicine that can help relieve your child's symptoms. But you know that a key part is making sure the medicine is easy for your child to take. When it comes to taking medicine, different children have different needs. That's why there are more ways to give your child Prevacid than any other medicine like it.

Prevacid® SoluTab™ (lansoprazole)

Prevacid SoluTab

Strawberry-flavored Prevacid SoluTab* is an easy-to-take tablet that melts in your child's mouth, usually in less than 60 seconds. It can be taken anywhere, with or without water. Prevacid SoluTab should not be crushed or chewed. Prevacid does not work as well and tastes bitter if it is crushed or chewed.

If you prefer, you can dissolve Prevacid SoluTab in water and give it to your child using an oral syringe. Learn more about Prevacid SoluTab and Prevacid SoluTab with oral syringe.
