Prevacid Solutab (lansoprazole)

Strawberry flavored—preferred flavor, less fuss: Prevacid SoluTab

Prevacid can help relieve the symptoms of GERD in children. But first you have to get your child to take it. If giving medicine to your child is challenging, you may want to ask about one of these easy-to-take options.

One option is Prevacid SoluTab.* For children who have problems swallowing capsules, Prevacid SoluTab is an easy-to-take tablet that melts in the mouth. It can be taken anywhere—with or without water. No messy liquids to deal with, just one Prevacid SoluTab.

StrawberryPrevacid SoluTab is strawberry flavored. In a taste test, 95% of healthy kids tested preferred strawberry-flavored Prevacid SoluTab over Zantac® (ranitidine) peppermint-flavored syrup.†

If your child has symptoms of GERD, ask his or her healthcare provider about Prevacid SoluTab. The tablet should be placed on the tongue and allowed to melt, with or without water, until all of it can be swallowed. Prevacid SoluTab should not be crushed or chewed. Prevacid does not work as well and tastes bitter if it is crushed or chewed.
